Okay guys (and girls!) here's my big debut of the pair I got from Jean (Pips&peeps) - A gorgeous Buff Ameraucana cockerel and pullet.

They arrived this morning, and I must say, I bet the Post Office staff was pretty taken by "alarm" to hear a rooster crowing in their building.

They are just SO beautiful. I am so glad to see Buff birds among my flock. . . Especially Ameraucanas.

Oh! Those are so nice. I am getting ready to add black and lavender ameraucanas to my flock, but seeing these makes me want some buffs, too.

I have to learn to control myself. The coop is only "so" big.

I sent one of the older pullets in the pen. There are 9 cockerels in there and she was getting bred every time she turned around, hence the not so nice feathering.

Fortuantely the feathers will grow back.

I am glad you like them. Hey check out those groovy leg bands!

Yes, I figured she was a favorite of the boys. . . So, how old is she? Any chances she'll molt this year? My 8 month old BBS Ameraucanas seem to be going through a molt right now.​
