Does anyone know if tail feather growth in the black ameruacana is indicative of gender? I only have 2, they are about three weeks old and one has tail feathers that are at least twice as long as that of the other.

In many breeds the roos will feather out more slowly, but I haven't found that to be 100% accurate. If you have enough chicks that you can see the differences in personality and comb it makes it easier.
