I've seen a million people do this on ebay. There is one person that always posts something like "Ameraucanas from great lines" but she/he is using an EE pic from a hatchery that I remember seeing when I first started learning about chickens.

There is also a guy selling Barnies who is using stolen photos. I sent a message and asked to see pictures of HIS ACTUAL BIRDS, and he obliged with some very small blurry pics from his phone (lacing couldn't be seen as good or bad), and he never denied that the pics on his auction weren't his.
