I have plenty of hens for my rooster and he still has his favorites. I had to put a hen apron on the one with feather loss on her back.

Oh! Good luck with that hatch. I'll be waiting to see pictures. I am off work tomorrow, so I will be getting the brooder (stock tank) ready for the new arrivals.

I have another stock tank in the old barn. Maybe I'll drag it out. Who knows? There are chicks everywhere this time of year.

Our LF BBS go broody at the first chance, breaking them is really tough to do, they will sit and sit.
