The single one on the limb, that darker color isn't black? Sorry iam getting confused..but when I put up those two different ones side by side..same age on the limb..wow what a difference between the two..so even with that darker grey on some of them they could be girls..but the super blotchy ones..I have 4 of those for sure..and only want to keep one roo..so I can give at least 3 away of those and be sure now i didn't give girls away.

Thank u so much, it's broken in half for two large runs, one for peacocks and one for chickens, but they mix match all the time
And then inside the chicken run, I have a little pen coming off the back of the coop

As long as their chests are coming out a nice creamy brown, their necks are a sort of tan-brown w/possible striping, and the rest is coming out more brown that black, yes, they're females. Now, if you've got Blue Wheatens in there, it's a slightly different ballpark. Blue Wheaten males with their lighter blue color can sometimes be tricky, and look like a pullet. But as long as the bird isn't more than 50% blue or black, it is relatively safe to say a girl.

Around 8 weeks ago I got my first Ameraucanas, at least I think that's what they are. I have 4 lavender and 3 black. I have no idea what sex they are except I'm pretty sure I have one black male who seems to be the leader of the group. Here are some picks.
