Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Is anyone familiar with Larry Clionsky's birds? I found him on the breeders club site and he is only a few hours from me so shipping shouldn't be to bad and has the colors that I want. I am assuming that he has high quality if he is listed. HE doesn't seem to have a website though.

My eggs have arrived from thier cross country journey! No sign of abuse or freezing, at least from outside appearace.

They are from pips&peeps. They're such a beautiful shade of blue. The picture doesn't do them justice but you can see the contrast between them and my olive colored eggs. I received 7 white ameraucana and 15 wheaten/blue wheaten. They are resting before I put them in the incubator in the morning.

Nice blacks FLF! Are they originally from Johm Blehm's stock (I know you just got them from Henry but want to know what breeder stock they came from)?

Most are from Will Marrow (I believe) and one Black Pullet and the Blue Pullet are from Paul Smith.

Silvers are sooo pretty! I've seen some in person, but don't have any photos. I was going back and forth about placing an order for LF Lavenders from John, but heard about Henry's birds, and couldn't resist. I'm really thrilled, and maybe I'll place an order for those Lavenders early next year. I'm hoping this year I can pry some eggs out of chicken stalker

The cockeral and 6 of the black pullets are form Will Marrow he has been breeding them for a while and he got his start from Paul Smith and Lisa Cree. The blue and one black are breeder quality birds shipped directly from Paul Smith.

Yup thats him he is a great breeder! he culls really really hard to get his breeding stock each season. He is now focusing on production an egg color and maintaining type and conformation. Those blacks lay really nice blue eggs. I was also really impressed with the humane way he raises his birds in free range pasture system with movable coops and LGD's. He also has Marans, Wellsummers, and Delewares.
