LOL.... It was 1 of 4 supposedly Americauna pullets that I bought 4 weeks ago. My first chicken purchas. Yeah I keep trying to tell my self I didn't get ripped off. Not only that, but think another one is a cockrel as well as I have been told they are Easter Eggers. I was given 3 roos and did not want more. I paid for pullets. They do have the slate legs and muffs and beards. This pic was taken in the rain so his is not as fluffy as normal. I can deal with the EE, but I wont get eggs from Roosters and that brings my head count to 5 roos and 3 hens. I have a pair of leghorns as well.

Thank You! I think he is pretty as well. Some people seem to be Chicken Snobs about the whole Amercauna/ EE thing. This guy is the sweetest, Of course I've also been told that will make him a attack bird as well.

I just called the man I got them from and he is going to let me trade the roos for hens. Now I know what to look for. I will switch forums and post pictures.

Yup, three pretty roos....

2 Easter Eggers and a Light Brown Leghorn... you won't get any egg from these guys.

I know these are roosters. I bought a leghorn hen and 4 supposedly Americauna hens of which to are roos. I'm taking those back because I sure don't want a 5 roo/3 hen ratio.

WOW! Did you buy that bird GROWN from him? I have chicks coming in a few weeks.... very excited.
