After looking again, the second one does have a prominent middle comb, it is still like a pea comb though.

Can anyone tell me if this is a true Ameraucana Splash Roo? We received it from a breeder but not sure where he obtained him from I Help please!!

Not a Splash for sure. Not sure what you'd call it. Looks a little like it could be a very poor Blue Wheaten, maybe, sort of, kinda.

It's not a true comb, it looks all warbled (if that's a word)...sticks up but not got any definate fingers on it...kinda looks like warts Not mosquito bites either...any guesses?

Thanks! I got him from a reputable breeder but reading a couple of the other posts had me concerned, I'm having a hard time finding a reputable site on Ameraucana characteristics...could you give me some pointers? Thanks so much! I'm SO new to the chicken world!
