Thanks again, I'm sure I'll have more to ask in the future

Good morning! I am new to BYC. Great site. Please take a look at my pics. I really am interested in raising Ameraucana's for the kids to show. My roo and chicks were not purchased from hatcheries. We have done well with our 4-H cinnamon's, but are ready to explore new blue-egg territory! Do you think I have any true Ameraucana's? I am into this early enough to turn these out with the laying flock. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Today has been a tough day in that we got about 12 inches of snow here in the mountains. It was a wet one, causing trees to droop and we lost power about 9AM this morning. We got the generator going early afternoon so our necessities are taken care of....computer, television, a few lamps and the refrigerator. The great thing that happened today is that I got the first egg from my 29 week old Ameraucanas! It was from my favorite splash. I saw one of the blue hens checking out a nest, but I was so excited, I did not wait around to see if she was laying as well. Here is the pic:
I don't think it is quite this blue and maybe has a little more green, but my lighting is so bad today, who knows? Let's home the camera is correct. The one on the right is from my little dominique that has been laying since July.
