I love siver BUT for me to place higher the OAV I need a APA/ABA color. The only one I do not want to deal with is white (anyone who has tried to keep them clean with mud will know why.) but any other color I am game for.

Silver is one of the recognized, allowed varieties.

Oh really? I need to do a refresher course in my standard then unless it was reconized after 20012 ^^;

hi, I am curious if there any bantam ameraucana breeders here? I tried on the bantam thread but got no bites on wanting to talk to breeders about possible getting birds next year

You're most welcome. Also check your local area thread for people who may have them but aren't a part of the Ameruacana Breeder's Association.

MS is not very active on here and the breeders who do have them they are LF breeders.

No new color varieties have been added since the breed was recognized . Silver has been there all along .

I'm really surprised it's such a struggle to have the splash added. I've been on the ABC forums a good bit lately, and I know people are working on it. Why is it such a struggle if it is a naturally produced color? My splash rooster from Paul is stunning
