Hello my friends!!

. Good news I want to share! I just found out that my chicks are on schedule to be mailed out tomorrow AM!! The little peeps are maybe hatching as I speak!!!
My breeder said he will send me the track # this eve!!!!

My first ever little purebred Ameraucana chicks are almost on their way! Been waiting for what feels like an eternity over the Winter season!
I can't wait to have my own!

The babies are doing great but I wish y'all would quit talking about chocolate. I am ten miles from the nearest store, in my pj's and all I want to do is go buy chocolate.

He's a decent bird. The few things I would want to correct in breeding would be forechest. Ameraucanas should have a "prominent" breast and he seems to be lacking there in this picture.  The other thing I'd work on his comb, though I can't really see too much about it at this angle.  Looks a little big, but a bigger picture might prove me wrong.  His eye color looks dark. It should be a nice bay eye.

He has a nice tail set and the transition from neck to back and back to tail is smooth, with no fluff behind the saddle.  Breed him to hens with more forechest, and you could get some very pretty chicks.

The above is just my opinion - others may differ.

His eyes are darker then I'd like and his comb is to big, these are a few of his girls, everyone looks pretty rough due to winter and complete bio security lockdown and a cramped coop for a few months!

That is absolutely the worst thing about living in the country! Sitting in your pjs at o dark thirty and wishing you had a dish of chocolate ice cream.

Oh no! Now it's me! Let's see - 9PM, I could make it to town, get ice cream and be back by 10...ready....set....GO
