My dad called it a drunken glimmer
Blue eggs and Am's... Just doesn't have quite the same ring as green eggs...I have Ams. I even have pictures of Ams. I have Ams in the bedroom, Ams in the other bedroom, Ams outside...I have young Ams, old Ams, and even Ams that haven't hatched yet.

Just my opinion but I Believe John Blehm lavenders are better than Pauls.
x2 and John's Silvers are drop dead gorgeous!
I would hope that we have not denigrated this thread to the point of turning it into some kind of popularity contest for who has the best chickens.
The simple facts are that both have contributed to the formation and dissemination of this breed, as well as the education of those coming into the breed.
To say that one has better birds than the other - from either side - is indicative of some personal prejudice, not judge-like evaluation of the two breeders or their product.
It is reasonable to say "I like this bird over that one" or "I prefer the (fill in the blank) of this bird over that one". But to say you prefer an entire breeding program over another - without having the opportunity to fully comprehend that breeder's program, and evaluate it at close hand, with the experience and credentials to make such a comparison - only comes across as blatant advertising, prejudicial, and just condescending.
I can say I liked the Polish-bred Arabians better than the Egyptian-bred, without naming breeders or trying to lower the esteem of one breeder over another. I can also make that comparison based on long term experience and my personal preferences for the type of Arabian that I liked, and which best met my needs. I can give reasons (fact-based) on why I liked one type over another.
Anything less than that has little meaning, and has no place in a thread intended to educate (often served with entertainment and amusement), not denigrate someone who is not even here to defend their program.

I don't see where I made any negative statements regarding any other breeder, I gave my opinion, which seems to be acceptable for others to do on this thread.
I will not in the future give my opinion here, I wasn't aware of the rules for this thread but am now informed. Sorry if my opinion was taken as denigrating to another's breeding program, it won't happen again.
