Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Horrible, horrible photo, but you can see the blur on the right which I think may be a blue and on the left, another is almost out. Then I already have the one hatched last night in the very temporary brooder. We are just barely into day 21. And just my luck, I have to go out of town in the middle of the day.

I now have three! Either a dark blue or black. Can you tell I am excited about my new babies....and my new incubator!

I can't remember, did you get the Eco or the Advance? Either way, they are both great machines. I love mine. I candled incubator #1 last night, and have 19 from my splash rooster cruising for lockdown on Monday.
I set 14 from the black pen this past Monday, and am really anxious about the 7 day candle. That rooster is gorgeous, but if his fertility is still off, I'm going to :hit

Here are my 10 straight run Blacks. Around 5 weeks old. See any cockerels?

I've got some about the same age. My males, the ones I can tell already, are larger and stand upright in a distinguished way. I'm guessing the bottom photo and the middle one roosting in the second. Can't really tell on the others.
I really like your brooder set up.

He is beautiful! He may be a late bloomer! Just give him a little time!

Quite honestly,  I do not see that big a transgression.  I bought my foundation stock from Paul and I love them.  I think they are beautiful.  I have also seen John's Silvers.  They are beautiful.   I would like to have some of them, but I have too many varieties now and not enough pens.  I would hope that we are not letting ABC and Ameraucana Alliance politics invade our forum.  I am a member of ABC and I may very well become one of the Alliance Club.  There are many breeders on here that are extremely knowledgeable and have great birds and we need to remember that.
X2
I joined after all of that, and really don't care to know what happened. Obviously I'm fond of Susan, and I love having John be a part of this forum and offering his insight and advice as well. As with any forum, all posts should be taken with a grain of salt andtrynot to get your feathers ruffled.
For anyone that enjoys ruffled feathers, I know just the thread ;)

Thanks! Just built it a couple weeks ago. I'll add one more after we move to give them more space as they grow. Right now there are 10 in the bottom and 18 up top just a couple weeks younger.

Ill keep an eye out for the signs. There are 2 or 3 that im pretty sure of.
