I don't have to post pics of my Sand Castles babies! They look exactly like these, I have a Wheaten boy and two blue wheaten pullets. One of the little pullets wants to be picked up when I go in the grow out coop. The blacks are beautiful too. Max's babies are the biggest and still the prettiest. They have that tank look and cute faces. Thanks again Susan for my beautiful babies.

Yes you do! LOL

I want to see pics - especially would like to see pics of your blacks. :) Right now, I'm throwing paper bags over all my blacks, so I don't have to look at them - they're growing through that gawky state. :)

A wheaten boy and two blue wheaten pullets - what a great starter combination! wish I could say I planned that. lol

Now Susan, I was sure you had picked out that trio on purpose just for me .

I did! uh huh...I did! lol

Yep, I can see the greatness, too - but I'm not sharing it yet. LOL

Here is one picture of my 4 week old black pullet...The greatness is there, just well hidden. Actually, I think she is going to be a little long in body - but she is the sweetest little pullet! She thinks she is a wheaten.

Well.... she is beautiful! Are you sure she is the same age as mine? I have to look at them again. I have 66 chicks right now of various breeds! Bielefelders, Ameraucanas and Black Copper Marans (two different ages). I have enjoyed having lots of chicks. I don't agonize so much over how they are going to turn out. I just worry is everyone clean, dry, fed and watered. I am done with chicks for the Spring. I bit the bullet and did them all at once. Next spring I hope to be hatching some of my own and getting some gorgeous blues from you!

Thank you! Yes, I hope to have some gorgeous blues available next year!

I have 4 week olds and 5 week olds together in the same pen, so she might be one of the five week olds. I didn't look to see if she had a wing band or not. The five week olds have been banded, but I haven't done the four week olds yet - probably this weekend.

Oh what little darlings! That face looks just like my Eve! Lol. (Of course that's a good thing!). I just love the temperaments of my little wheatens and blue wheatens! My largest blue wheaten male is the wildest one. He's gotten better in the past day though!

Then theres another blue wheaten male that's absolutely a sweetheart! But the bigger aggressive male probably is more fertile also. The way he looks and acts he's bound to have a little more testosterone pumping through his body.! They also seem to have a different language than the blacks and blues. My little Eve has stolen my heart! Lol. I'm so glad you posted these pics! Your babies are beautiful! Proud momma for sure

Excellent pics for me to confirm some gender identification!! I'm going to refer to these, mine are 3 weeks now.,,!

These guys are 3 weeks 3 days old. Are they transforming into boys before my eyes? I didn't realize how dark they were getting til I saw your pics! I just took a few random shots. Lol in another week it will probably be more obvious. Or is the dark feathering the deal breaker?
