Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Gee.  They don't have a single Ameraucana in their pics at all.  They took the time to write a history and say it was an APA recognized breed, but must have done zero research on them.

Zero research is right. People cease to amaze me, both good and bad.
Thank goodness for the breeders who created this amazing and beautiful breed. A lifetime of dedication. It's truly appreciated by people like me!

Oh I love my little chicks. 2 of them were assist so I got super attached lol. They are strong now and finally catching up in size. They were so tiny when they first hatched. :)

Doing great. I haven't noticed any leakage on them so that's good. I will try to get a pic of it this one that I think is a roo. He is always hiding so i think he is low man on the totem pole.

Look forward to seeing them

It's the splash. I think it's a roo but the others must be pulling his tail feathers. I see one feather a little longer than the others and he hides like a scared roo. Guess I need to decide what roos to keep.

Are they molting right now? Can u get a closer pic of your splash? From there it looks like a pullet.
