One of our ameraucana hens is "flighty" when she wants to be fed (she flies up to the top of the tractor or bbq and "supervises" the feeding and when she has determined that it is all satisfactory she "flies" down to eat. She can "fly or coast down from a perch & lands about 10 feet away. The other Ameraucana girl doesnt ever try to "fly"
