The little Ameraucana looks fine, all damp and wobbly. There's this weird goo stuff that looks like it came out of the egg, does anybody know what that is??

Hey, urbanfarmboi! I have a chick this morning too! I had a hen sitting on a nest until she abandoned it over the weekend. I moved the three eggs into the incubator and voila! A baby popped out late last night. I think it is a splash, but it's still soggy enough to not really be able to tell. It has that silvery sheen though and its legs have some lighter spots. Fingers crossed that it's a splash!

Just popping in to say hi and catch up on all the pretty bird pics. I did an Ameraucana hatch last weekend and have a dozen beautiful chicks left... they have gotten to the cute stage with primaries in and are getting friendly... Now I'm just going to have to keep them... I'll post a pic when I get home this evening

Can you tell the sex of a Blue Ameracauna's chick. I have 3 really light blue ones and 11 dark blue ones. I will try to go and get a picture.

Well the 1588 is set up and I've got the turner on just to make sure it's working

I've got the Brinsea set up and running also.

I'll get the IncuCube Friday (I hope) and once it gets up to temp, Eggs will go in there too.

1st Candle April 12th

Lockdown April 20th.

Hatch April 23rd to April 25th.
