No- the only way you can get splash is with blue to blue or splash to splash or blue to splash. I think with the colors you have you'll end up with some wild-type partridge colors, and maybe some black-coppery and birchen looking ones. That's what I've gotten with some of the banty EEs I've made using similar colors.
K. Thanks! I guess next spring I'll have to get a few blues.
Here's the info. I have on "Breeding Blues"--hope it helps:
Blue x Blue = 50% Blue 25% Black 25% Splash
(Bb) (Bb)
I got hatching eggs from Cree Farm last spring, but--as best I can tell--they are no longer "in business" (??). Can anyone verify this? Or can anyone tell me what line their BBS Ameraucanas come from?
I'm interested in breeding Ameraucanas and need this info. I can't remember if I had it before or not, but, regardless, I would have lost the info in a pc crash the first of this year.
Also does anyone have a good listing of the most popular, quality lines? I'm just getting started and have no idea what lines to look for.

I would say Smith, Desmitt, and Ribbeck for BBS Lines. (sorry if I didn't spell someone name right
) I had birds from Will Marrow as well and they were great his line is Cree X Smith but majority Smith line. He has been breeding them for about 5-6 years if I remember correctly so they are close to his own line. I also got pullets directly from Paul Smith they live with FLF now but they were absolutely stunning!

I got hatching eggs from the Crees this spring and have 3 weeks old chicks right now. They have updated their site.

Sweet! I have to wait until July 4th for lockdown on my lav eggs. 13 of 15 look promising- really good for shipped eggs that have to travel down a washboard gravel rd!
Happy hatching!
this is the car driving down her road
my son now knows where nowhere is...when we went to Amy's he asked why we were the only car on the road hmm
(these are bouncing not jumping smileys) then when we met about half way between us he saw her Jeep and said oh she lives in nowhere...you just never know what a 5 year old will come up with.
According to Mr Fox the best Ameraucana's are Jeans and Halo's Wheaten's they are down right tasty *!!*!! Fox will die for his deeds
