I am heart broken, while free ranging my blue ee (who is huge and gorgeous but hi color is wrong) beat my prize white rooster to death, when I saw what was going on it was to late, he was my favorite rooster and my buddy.

I read somewhere that there is regular or blue splash and black splash ; black splash being blue with a scattering of black feathers . Is this pullet a black splash or a poor blue ? [ Too much sunlight in this pic , her body color is all light blue with a few black or split black/blue feathers scattered over her back ] . Geneticly is black splash and blue splash the same ; in other words would black splash produce 100% blue when mated to black , 100% splash when mated to another splash ?
