Some colors can be kept together, but you have to make sure they are the right ones. Blue, black, and splash can be kept together for breeding. (depending on what color you want the chicks to be--you will need to learn a bit about genetics first) I THINK wheaten and blue wheaten can also be kept together (but am not 100%). The key is to make sure you have the correct colors together for breeding. Pips & Peeps is an awesome breeder with very nice birds. I got eggs from her that hatched in June and the birds are gorgeous. She is wonderful to buy from and very knowledgeable.
