Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

I'm personally going kinda crazy right now. . . I'm getting a little "lovesick" about Buff Ameraucanas, but before I actually have some I've been spending time trying to read more on them and look at images of them.

- Sad part is, they are so rare it is hard to find any more than the same ol' two or three images of them. Past that and you get people who don't know the difference between Buff Ameraucanas and wildtype colored Easter Eggers.

They are indeed beautiful too.

But seriously, I thought he has a maximum for each color or something. . . ?

Question about Ameraucanas...I bought 3 of them and when they starting laying only 1 lays the light blue eggs, the other two lay light brown. Does this mean the two laying brown eggs are not really Ameraucanas? And are Ameracaunas and Easter Eggers the same?
