Hi! I would really appreciate some advice from some experts out there............ Long story short but I ordered some blue americauna hatching eggs from a reputable breeder (not a hatchery), only one blue hatched so she hatched some for me and also had a poor hatch rate. What she ended up sending me was one blue, several blacks, all day olds and a month old splash pullet that she said was lovely and that if I ended up with a black roo, I could breed them and end up with blues. The splash pullet has no beard or muffs, I questioned the breeder and she said they should come in in time and that the black splash would become more apparent. The pullet is now about 3 1/2 months old and the black splash is more apparent on her body. She has also developed a lot of gold around her neck/face (had none until recently) and has no "facial fluff" as of yet. She does have dark grey/slate coloured legs. I am guessing she is an EE, not a splash americauna? If I breed her to a black americauna will I get the blue americaunas or will they all be EE's?
