Here's an updated (and slightly blurry) shot of my BW cockerel from Jean, Claude will be 9 months old on January first.
I think he "lost" his mojo or something, maybe it's just because it's the winter... he has shown absolutely NO interest in any of the hens, let alone his BW girls, in the past couple months...
That better change come spring time, I want some babies!

He's lovely Jeremy. I think the "mojo" thing is pretty common. I'm still waiting for Holly to gets some of Levi's babies, but he's the same way. Groovy Man as well. I don't know what it is with these wheaten boys. My other colors seem to be waaay more friskie.
Oh Dear Levi...such great eye candy that only has eyes for his sex link and leghorn ladies.I did catch him looking at another hen the other day when it was warm so I'm hoping
Right now only one of his ladies has begun to lay again-my Halo lady still waiting on Jeans and the Garner lady to stop eating me out of house and home. The Wheaten roo of Jean's has really blossomed so I could use him but I want the blue and the list for Levi babies is much longer
My biggest problem is I need more breeding pens..my new house will have 4 more when the weather breaks and my husband is home to finish but I'm still going to be short..think my BB pen will be Gourmet Eggers most of this year..the S died in the deep freeze
