Maybe I can bribe her with the eggs I have saved to incubate it is only 3 though.... we can trade roos down the road right? after I hatch the 17 eggs in the bator now

I will even drive the 1 1/2 to give her one.... that will work right?

I would really love to get some off spring from the latter boy, but all my pullets from you died either from the heat or my dog killed them. Grrrr!!

Ooooh- I thought you were keeping 2 additional roos. Yes- you should always keep 2 roos- but if you are doing 2 big pens I would say to keep 2 black/split roos and 2 lav ones.

I have your baby roo... and I will have to just hatch the Lav Split roos

will you talk to my hubby when he asks me why I need 4 roos for one breeding project and only 4 big pullets?

(I do have 4 more baby pullets and the ones I am hatching too)

Ok- I was getting confused there! No- you don't need 4 roos for 4 girls, but I would keep 2 until your babies grow up just in case. You could always keep that sweet big guy for an olive egger pen or something, maybe? I know- I am not helping at all!

Maybe EE, I have some EE that are split for lav from his brother.... hum.... I have a couple of Olive Eggers.... He needs a slew of pullets after the way his brother treated him

and right next to him so he can rub it in
