Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

heres my boy, hes growing his muff back after having it plucked out >.> :)



he likes to come inside.....

and heres my blue girl that I am putting with him after his quarenteen is over :)
 
When they first came out there legs were a yellow/beige tint now there slate colored... so I'm unsure if there two purebred Ameracuana or if there a EE, but when I look at the ameracuana breeder page pictures. I see two pictures that identify what type they are...
buff, wheaten, and blue wheaten supposedly come out with pink legs then turn slate, so they are probably one of those kinds

What color were the eggs you hatched? Ameracauna eggs are suppose to be blue.

There are a few really obvious things that show those are EEs- one is a wild-type partridge color, and the other is blue cuckoo. And they have yellow beaks. They will still be great birds, just not ameraucana.
