Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

You are very confused

I may be a lot of things but I can assure you, the one thing I am not is confused.

Ok so let me get this straight you think she should have never said PS's name just because he is an ABC breeder is this correct? Even though the OTHER eggs she purchased came from the bloodline that he produces? Am i understanding this correctly?

Hey Nicole piece of advise here if you want to get the best contact PS directly send him an email and get some chicks in the spring directly from the source so there is no confusion which is what i did. The min order is 10 chicks and it's 84.00 including shipping for them send him the money and it makes your order ready to ship come march just hurry cause it fill up fast. Oh and it's any color he has including wheaten. I know where you are coming from and what you want for your kids and thanks to Dak i got mine going for next year. Don't waste your time with shipped eggs ok.

This is not a $50 pure Ameracuana chick to me. I have no clue what breed it is, I'm assuming mixed with a straight comb.

Oy. I think she need not mention the name because the eggs she hatched had NOTHING to do with him except that at some point somebody hatched eggs from him and went on from there .... but it wasn't her.

So if I cross a well bred horse with a cow and complain when a mutant emerges, should I blame the horse breeder for the genes????

If we can all trace our blood lines back to some common source, is that common source to blame for ALL the choices that were made to inject new genes in the mix?
