Hi,
I will try to keep a flock thread. I hope you enjoy this thread as I try to keep it updated! A brief history: I have had chickens for about 3 years and I love it! started with 2 and now I have around 30, I keep them mainly for pets but I also enjoy having fresh eggs, I love fancy and unique breeds but I also keep regular boring breeds! I also have ducks, they are awesome! But not as good as chickens

Currently here's my flock:

Age: Will have his first birthday in a week!
Breed: Bielefelder
Fun Fact: This picture is my favorite of Lawrence! He also loves to find food for his gals!

Fun Fact: She is much bigger than her sister but is still at the bottom of pecking order!

Fun Fact: she is more pretty than she is at laying eggs! She lays a weekly pink egg!

Roody!
Age: Around 3 years old
Breed: Rhode Island Red
Fun Fact: Even though she's pretty old she still managed to lay an egg every other day! I am also trying to sell her too!

And now Cristofori!
Age:Around 3 years old
Breed: Rhode Island Red
Fun Fact: My older brother named her after the man that invented the piano! Also trying to sell.

Fun Fact: I am planning on selling her soon! Also as you can see she is one of Lawrence's favorite hens!

Age: Will be 2 this Fall
Breed: Bielefelder
Fun Fact: she got the name "Horable" Anne because the week I bought her she started eating eggs! Also trying to sell.

Next is the Mom!

Fun Fact: she was my first broody hen, and hatched 10 babies! Happily keeping her!

Last is: Humpty Dumpy

Age: 2 this Fall

Fun Fact: She absolutely hates me taking pictures of her! Also trying to sell.

Grace better known as: (The Ameraucana)
Age: Will be 2 this Fall
Breed: She was sold as an ameraucana but she's an EE.
Fun Fact: She the chicken that got me to love chickens! So she's my favorite!

Now for Laura!

Age: Will be 2 this Fall
Breed: Olive Egger
Fun Fact: She came with Grace, so they are buddies. In the winter Laura helps keep Grace's muffs dry!

Black-eyed-Susan

Age: Around 3 years old
Breed: Black Australorp
Fun Fact: She was supposed to be a black sex link but a few members told me that she was an austalorp. I am keeping her!

Breed: Olive Egger/Bielefelder cross
Fun Fact: She is Laura and Rocky's baby (Rocky was my old rooster, RIP) She lays Olive green eggs like her Mama!

Next Wynonna!

Age: 5 months old
Breed: Olive Egger/Bielefelder cross
Fun Fact: she is also Laura and Rocky's baby and I am not sure what color of egg she will lay when is older.

Next here is Vivaldi!

Age: 5 months old Breed: Rhode Island Red/Bielefelder cross
Fun Fact: She is Cristofori and Rocky's baby, so that is why she has the name Vivaldi!
