Hello fellow chickeneers! May the games begin!
Here are some pics, I purchased these from a local breeder. He claimed the 3 Grey's were pure Ameraucanas and that the 3, now 2 (rip), white ones were mixed with leghorn. Feel free to give me any opinions on what breed age or sex you think ! As I am a total chicken newbie.
This is expected roo #1 the mixed dude. No doubt he is a he?
This is his comb closer.
Same chicken, different angle.
His "sister" now.
Hoping this one is a pullet. She's much smaller and more timid. Here's what her comb looks like.
And zoomed because pictures suck.
Now on to my Ameraucanas " ...
#1 suspected cockerel. Very obvious comb, he also has a longer tail and is quite large.
Here is his face.
Here is his butt.
And his "sister".
Her close up.
This was hard. She LOVES my phone.
Here is one more shot of her for good measure.
Here they are posing for their rap album.
(Side by each comparison, "she" is left "he" is on the right)
Last but not least the stumper. We'll can this one "Ameraucana #3" but it doesn't look the same as the others. And I don't mean just the coloring. The comb is different and no cheeks. So let me know what you think.
This little fellow is not huge like the other obvious cockerels but it sure acts like one.
This one is extra fidgety harder to photograph the others are pretty chill. But this one ALWAYS acts like it wants to come see me and be close to me.
Once again I'm not sure how old these are, I got them about 3 weeks ago and they already had full wings and looked like seaguls (that is in comparison to the chicks I had at the time ..) so I'm guessing around 6 weeks maybe.
Anyways, thank you for this awesome community! And thanks for playing what's my chicken!
