Ameraucana's Muff looks wet/sparse

So my 9 week old ameraucana has horrible looking beard. Its looks more like a handle bar mustache... I have two of them and the other 9 week old's looks fine. I'm wondering if there is something wrong or if she is just molting or what? This is my first time rising chickens so my experience is none Thank you for your help!

awww, she is cute !! did you give them yogurt or some type of messy food? when its warm give her a little bath. she could be sticking her nose where it dont belong. and making it nasty.

No messy food I can think of . Maybe she is just getting it wet then eating feed? Could this be new feathers coming in? Here is a pic of the other one that looks normal.
