I can use the cook top since it is gas. I also have some camping gear. We are not in a place that has high fire danger so we should be fine here

Windy and dry with fire alerts.

Woodland and my County have power but other parts of the North State had the power turned off for safety.

I guess that makes running incubators an iffy situation.

Yes! Shasta and Butte county have the most power outages currently. This is at least the third time this year for PGE to cut power in places with high fire danger

i understand that fires can start in many ways but one way of preventing them would be finding another method on forested land, so I really hope that there is a way forward with clearing woodland areas, fire with and even more so without the back up of water especially in hot weather is highly risky.

At least you've had rain that has to be better than fires, unless there's been any flooding.
