Wow! I've seen that Bresse eggs sell from Greenfire Farms hatchery, and others, for $12 EACH. Lucky you! I got my birds, 2 cockerels and 3 pullets, from a craigslist seller, for $80.

I have absolutely no tips so far. I'm hoping others will join this thread and chime in, too!
