My Lav and Blue babies are on their way! I'm thinking I will probably get them tomorrow, since HWF is only a few hours drive from me. Can't wait! I'll take pics when they get here.

Well, shoot! They did not get here today. Should be tomorrow. Why would it take the USPS two days to deliver something from 3 hours away?!
because HWF ships priority mail not express, stinks that you have to wait the extra day

Poor little guys!
I've been watching to see how they (HWF) do with shipping times since it would appear that we aren't located that far apart. Hopefully your new babies will show up early tomorrow.

Proud papa again!
I bought 3 Toulouse goslings at Rural King. We had wanted to raise some geese for the table, and now I guess we will. With it being so warm I wanted to get the 3 little ones out on some grass. I took them down just to meet Boris and the 2 girls. Boris heard them and ran to the fence and apparently called them. They ran from me and squeezed through the fence. He took them and this was them within minutes.
I have say that the paternal instinct of his really makes him endearing. Especially since he has never bit a person. Other animals like the cat and a cocky rooster are the only ones that have felt the wrath of Boris.
The 2 girls, Mary and Martha are now 5 weeks old. They sure do grow fast!

I feel really bad. Apparently, my goslings did arrive yesterday after I talked to them. They tried to call, but it was a blocked number and I thought it was my MIL calling. Oops. I picked them up this morning and they all seem ok, though.
