I have limited experiences with them, and I have to say I am not impressed. The few I've met and worked with have been unpredictable, one second fawning on you and soaking up the lovins, the next snapping at your face! I don't know how they are with small animals, but I personally have never met one I would trust with a child. As for prey drive, they are a spitz type, and I would assume they probably have the typical northern breed/spitz prey drive. But their owners do seem terribly devoted to them, so I assume they must have some good qualities as well.
