American Game Hens

Hi all, just checking this out.
How many of you would be interested in eggs to hatch from pure game stock to get your self hens that would brood you chicks?
I have a trio that I'm planing to pen together this summer.
My hen is setting eggs now and my pullet probably will soon.
They are great moms and lay nice.

What kind of game will you be getting? Bates, hatch, kelso, roundhead etc...?

I've been out of the loop so long . And I not sure what my rooster is and my hen I think is a hatch, and my pullet is a baby of hers from my roo.
I'm thinking about killing my roo he has been trying to thin down my /his hens and going after the leghorns only .
He has put an eye out , hurt a leg, hurt a vent and that hen is terrified of any chicken now, hurt a wing, and now I have a new victim with holes in her neck and head just happened this morning.
So he is getting moved asap.

Yeah, if he's being aggressive like that I'd have to be rid of him as well. He's not a good rooster if he's hurting the hens he's supposed to be protecting.

To answer your original question, yes I'd be interested in getting some game stock eggs from you.

I'm going to have to think about what to do with my roo.
I'm first going to put him by his self for a while.
And I'll have time with my hen out raising chicks.
To figure out what to do. So it will be this summer or early fall. I may try to get a different rooster I don't know yet.
But any way thank you and I'll keep you in mind on some eggs.
