American Gamefowl

I thought your favorite color was Blue:lau

Now that I think about it, I may have to go to HF and get me some 97¢ tarps if they have any. We finally got a store right here in town! I don't have to drive far:celebrate
I don't mind blue if I'm not using it long term like those cammo ones, blue is fine with me to cover materials, etc. on a trailer if we are hauling something or something like that. I like having spares of things.

Well how people are these days especially with gamefowl I’d rather them not stick out like a sore thumb havoc led me on to em and though the quality is hit and miss I haven’t found a substitute for em yet.

Woke up the neighborhood with my gold toy yesterday LSx is the way to go both my trucks run pretty well. Got any power plans for it plan on building the 4l60 or swapping in a 80 I choose to build the 60 on the gold truck paired with a yank 3200 stall.

I tune these things on the side if you ever decide to build one I can do it over email aswell for most cases aslong as you’ve got a wideband, hptuners and a laptop, but I’ve done it with just using the short term fuel trims aswell without a wideband.
May do some things to it eventually. Only problems it’s got that I’ve found is the shift cable is stretched I beleive I changed the mechanism and it was still stuck in park unless you slam the shifter down where 1 usually is unhooked the cable and pulled on it and it goes straight to drive and needs a wheel bearing shifts good.

They use whole hub assemblies pretty easy to change and a common wear part on em. A lot better than pressing in and out bearing though.

Checked the little plastic clip on the transmission side of the cable? On driver side right near the top of the trans pan those get brittle and break and a lot of times those cables eventually just fray right where the mounting bracket slots are aswell is some plastic retainers that get brittle.

Yeah it’s hooked up I think it’s just stretched out cause I can make it change if I unhook it and move it by hand but not by the lever. Yeah I’ve had a few of these trucks since I sold my 17 model I had to get back into another gm I’m just not a fan of anything else they do like wheel bearings but moogs usually last awhile.

Yeah hard to beat the engines in them I’ve worked on some with well over half a million miles. Only issue here is rust with them as soon as i got my black truck I went to town coating and oiling. I bet I’ve done close to 50 rocker and cab jobs on these.

Not a complaint one on any I’ve had my black truck has pulled a many a vehicle so far. Things happen but best money spent is a tune and a big trans cooler for em to prolong the trans life. Done a few cam swaps and tunes for fellas pretty straight forward to tinker with as well, I like em.

It’s got the 4.8 but I couldn’t pass it up for 1200 bucks lol

4.8 can be a screamer my gold truck turns 7250 it’s a 5.3 those 4.8s love some rpm and boost. And nope $1200 easy in parts heck the rear end alone fetches around that depending on demand.
Yeah frame is good under it ac works best works brand new tires all new brake lines rotors pads fuel lines heated leather seats it’s got a lot of new parts the guy daily drove it and owned it since 08 just got in a tight spot and never got around to fixing the cable so parked it this past may I drove it probably 5 miles down the road yesterday and it shifted perfect and ran smooth other than the wheel bearing screaming lol
