It actually does. All the little feathers around the butt are called Cul De Canard (cdc) and is used in place of deer hair to make dry flies float.

Never lost another Cayuga egg though .. Nothing on the game camera but a robin hanging out

I do both I've got plenty of lead and steel, but it's storming here and haven't caught or seen anything besides a opossum since the owl. I can watch the birds while sitting on my rear end aswell lol.
