American Gamefowl

Hillfolk likes to shoot in the dark I like to sit on my *ss and let the traps hold onto them til after I’ve had my morning jug of coffee.
Stuck my foot right in my mouth. . I might would did.
Calling you drunk when I can't even English.
My bad! Rofl.

I do both I've got plenty of lead and steel, but it's storming here and haven't caught or seen anything besides a opossum since the owl. I can watch the birds while sitting on my rear end aswell lol.
Haven’t caught much here either. I did manage a couple ticks the other day though. Something is better than nothing I guess.

Something about a late night sniper and steel.
My motion lights have been coming on the last couple nights too. I think I have a opossum.
Never lost another Cayuga egg though .. Nothing on the game camera but a robin hanging out
and me bending over.

Uhh... the last pics you mentioned... we’re gonna need to see those for... well let’s call it the ‘the safety and well being’ of your ducks ;)

But also know that game cameras capture only a fraction of what’s happening....

I won’t use game cams for mature whitetail deer because of this... long story short but every fawn in the woods grows up with knuckleheads checking game cams these days ... so mature bucks skirt them because of the scent they disperse checking them...

...I use them only in “general population” areas that are easy to check... and then always the mature bucks go away after a certain date... not really away... they just don’t go to those camera check places...

So cams lie... not just about the amount of belly my “people’s britches” show when I walk by....but also about what’s there...

... and to a lesser extent this can apply to chicken eaters too... depending on how you have them set up...

But you might have 20 chicken eaters surfing the yard and only 5 on camera... still means 20 threats... 15 are unknown... doesn’t mean you have 20 chicken eaters though...

You can have 5 critters on camera, 20 threats and zero chicken eaters... the camera doesn’t do much for you there at all

Don’t put too much faith in those cameras is the point... if I have one... I forgot

Ya. . I know. Would've thought I'd seen somethin if anything was going in the ducks house though. . there were hundreds of pics of the ducks.
It was likely another duck I think. .they all went in and out of there several times a day. . but no more eggs went missing so I don't know.
