He might be a friendly mini rooster but he isn’t worth 3 feathers off a gamecock and damn sure not worthy of the name ‘Del Cielo’. That just wouldn’t be right. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.

Apparently you can’t sleep anyway... you got roosters talking to you about deer!

Better call him ‘De La Zanja’ then... ‘from the ditch’

Worst part is I chased off a possum I thought was in a DP under the tree about 20 birds were in. I thought he was caught but he wasn’t yet. I tried to get closer before he took off. I didn’t wanna take a chance at that distance with a 3.5 in #5 turkey load. Two birds were lower than I would have liked and I risked scattering them in the dark. Lol

That bird is unique looking. Looks like a ptarmigan.
