Havoc said it real well it's a ton of work.
I always liked gamefowl since a boy my grandpa on my moms side actually was in the center of it here in Nc in the older days. We raised a few as I was growing up nothing serious. So it was a long wait for me and it's only easy if you ain't trying. Pens flipping and birds tearing themselves up hens about killing each other. Varmints, snakes, prey birds. Also culling weak birds instead of treating them for everything under the sun is a no no. I mean this passed year I was digging out pens in 2+ft of snow in single digits. You can't ever get comfortable because when you do it hits the fan I just stayed up for 28hrs straight to get a varmint after my birds not many will do such.
