American Gamefowl

I know what you saying about standards and breeding down...
If he wasnt game I wouldnt sell him or give it away either. But if he is game, I'd let him prove himself. Im guessing he is game if he came from havocs birds.

But If he ain't game you'd better cull one or both of the parents too.

If you only kept the best, you'd only have one rooster.
I’m not sure if this is a roundabout way of questioning my birds or not but we tried to set it up tough guy you backed down.
When it comes to selling birds on Craigslist that aren’t good enough for you to keep well thats the definition of a peddler buddy. You’re trying to make a name for yourself with YouTube, website etc.. might want to start over and actually get some decent birds and actually try to breed for quality. You’ve already admitted you don’t cull birds for anything other than sickness so you my friend are full of it. Best go hang out with the nutty professor, and your bird trading buddy in the other thread.

I was actually complimenting you and saying that they are probably game because they came from you. (which I know originally came from SDM)

You gave away good birds that you bred to SOHC. Im just suggesting SOHC do the same. Just because he doesnt have room for them, doesnt mean he should cull them. I say give them a chance on another yard (unless they truely are no good, in which case I say cull the parents).

Regarding the quality of my birds... I have no issues selling them or giving them away because they are good birds. I just dont have the room to keep everything.

If you arent going to keep, sell or give away birds, there is no point in even breeding them. Just stick with what you have and eat their eggs.

I cull constantly... by not breeding certain birds...

They are good but not necessarily good broodstock. Thats what I sell/give away.

Thats what all the good breeders do. You think they killing off everything and giving you their best broodstock? No they have good broodstock and sell you the offspring, which should be also be good if they doing it right.

You don’t know much. The only birds I have on my yard from sdm are blues. I have 4 blue cocks and 4 hens.
The rest have absolutely nothing to do with him at all smart guy. They are good birds though.
