American Gamefowl

I got a pair of Shamo from a coworker who has lots of Thai chickens. He gave me a pair from what he says is a prestigious line called "Red Ruby" Do any of you know anything about these birds? He told me that they're a champion breed that they keep in their tribe and fetch a big price tag. Said he wanted me to take them and breed them as he liked what I do with my other birds. I asked what the standards were and what to breed for but he just said to go big and strong and try to get faster.

Pretty decent catches bill. What combo did ya get?

"Local" feed store here is pretty much a thing of the past, I would probably have to order a feed like that.
I don't mix anything with the pellets, they just get a little scratch or some type of treat everyday. Spoiled

Yep same deal here SS went out of business here we still got parsons but they are expensive. So I’ve been doing pellets and corn for quite some time now and birds feel great and are healthy.
Theirs a little store called belle farm down in morgaton that sells gamefowl feed and stuff.

What percent pellet are you feeding? I think the next bag i will go with 20% instead of the 22%. Birds feel and act fine but seem a little to wet

Yeah she’s a good shot I had her doing some rhythm with off the shoulder back to rest and switch between the paper and kongs. She kepted up a decent pace with a break action and whatever pattern I told her to shoot she had one straggler out of 50rounds.
