DBF made a comment last night that he felt Adam intentionally blew it (by doing all the things you all say you hate) so he didn't win. We weren't crazy about his last song either, and I hate the tongue thing too. I've been an Adam fan from day 1 but only based on the singing on the show. I had no idea he was gay, really don't care, and never check into the behind the scenes stuff. The kid can SING.

I've never liked Kris and am amazed he's made it this far. He just doesn't have "it" - and no power behind his voice.

Danny is OK, I liked his last song but I don't think he has what it takes to go very far even if he does win.

Tonight should be interesting

I also hope Adam goes home. But I doubt it. I may have been able to get past his screaming if he acted at all humble. He's just so disingenuous. Anytime he receives a compliment, he just has this smug "yeah, tell me something I don't know" look even while he's trying to graciously accept the compliment.

Danny is my choice, has been since Hollywood week. I just love the sound of his voice. His dancing does not bother me. I'm tune in to listen to his voice. The heart gesture he makes is in remembrance of his late wife. Carol Burnett used to tug her ear as a way to say "hi" to her grandmother. What's the big deal? I like Kris but he just doesn't have a powerful enough voice.

My real problem with last night's show was the judges slobbering all over Adam. It was just gross.

Sammysmom....I was just kidding when I mentioned Danny's dancing and the heart symbol. I, like you, just like to hear him sing. I said it as a joke to Sarahbeth because I read someplace online that some fanatical anti-Danny people have tried to spread rumors that Danny had accepted a deal on the side to endorse Lenscrafters glasses because in one of their commercials someone used that little heart sign. They were saying it was a "secret sign" to sell glasses. I just shook my head when I read it. It's like saying that the only reason he is there is because his wife died. Kind of one-sided. I know it didn't come across that way when I posted. I was just egging her on.

LOL I didn't even know that. It just made me think of David Archuletta. He would always raise his arms and bring one or both to his chest. It was like his only gesture. I remember watching and telling my hubby what move was coming next and had him rolling over it. If he wasn't doing that his eyes were closed. And it sounded like he had cotton balls in his throat.
