American Idol

We where in the downstairs of the hospital last night when Idol came on and I was having a fit because I was missing it. As soon as the tornados passed the hospital we went back upstairs to the room to watch it. It was a boring show for the most part but I'm glad Scotty won. I would've been happy for Lauren too because I think she is just awesome. I've been voting for them two and James till they booted him which was a huge shock and for Hailey to stay in so long was a shock too. Her reaction when she did get booted was very unimpressive. She looked angry about it. I think she used her dad in her performance as a game piece. Although he was good it was a bad move I think. Playing dirty in my opinion. She didn't deserve to go any farther if she planed to play unfairly.

The east coast knew at 10 PM your time, and the show is taped earlier in the day. How do I know? Because at 7:00 pm my time my FB wall was covered with posts ruining the whole thing for me.

On that other note, NASCAR is the only "sport" that still prays before a race. I like that.

That's weird. I thought it was live, since it says "live" and all....

It is live for those of us living in the eastern time zone... weird to think that the peeps in CA, where it's filmed, don't get to see it live... in fact, I'd never thought of that before.

There are so many singers and music out there you have to do something different to be noticed and remembered.

I just watched her performance and didn't see anything wrong with it at all.

I thought Beyonce's ballad was the best performance of the night. It was just over the top great in my book. I didn't think Lady Gaga was explicit or obscene or anything like that. It was just a performance and the male dancer never touched her inappropriately. If young kids are innocent they wouldn't connect it to anything and if they aren't, they've seen a lot more than that already.

The other day I posted "Idol schmidol" on my Facebook because it was just crazy with all kinds of results of who was doing what..... pages and pages of results and opinions!

I guess I need to get onboard, because I've never cared anything about watching it. *Ducking tomatoes"
