Yeah, it does fill the Idol void. There are a couple others "So you think you can dance", etc., but I don't like them. America's Got Talent is good though.

I'm not sure if Piers Morgan will be doing it this year since he took over for Larry King on CNN. I'd be surprised if he still does both. Howie was funny on it last year as I recall.

Oh thats right!! Have you watched him, is it good?

Yes, I've watched and no actually, it's really not good. I was disappointed because I've always like him. I wrote here in another post that he constantly interrupts is guests and it's very annoying. They can never finish a sentence. He does it so much that I've actually heard the guests say "wait, please let me finish". SOMEONE needs to tell him it's incredibly rude. I WANTED to like it, I really did. But I find myself listening to it in the background and occasionally yelling at the TV, "For God's sake, stop interrupting!" You never get to hear what the guest is trying to say. Other than that, it would be fine. He needs to be duct-taped to a chair and forced to watch a loop video of all his interrupting so he can get the message. I actually went on CNN looking for a way to write to him and tell him, but I couldn't find a contact email.

I watched a portion of one of his shows and could tell that he would get on my last nerve with the interruptions... he's almost as bad as "ladies" on The View!

I'm not a big fan of "America's Got Talent," but I do enjoy Sharon. What about "The VOice?" Anybody watching it? Anybody going to watch "The X-Factor" this fall?

My favorite talent show is "So You Think You Can Dance." Some of those kids are just absolutely amazing. I sit an watch them in awe. I also like the judges - I get the feeling that they really care about those kids.

Watching the "Scotty" appearance on Regis & Kelly...that boy just comes across as SO darned nice!

Gosh I sure hope fame doesn't change that.

I watched "America's Got Talent" tonight. Some of the acts were truly different, creative and entertaining. I think I'm going to like it this year. I cracked up when Howie and Piers did the sword fighting on stage! You never know what you're going to see....I like that in a variety show. Can you believe 2 people fell off the stage????? Owwww!

Personally I loved the guy on the unicycle putting his hand on Howie's head. That is a major no-no. Howie was P.O.d.
