James is my favorite right now too, closely followed by Casey. For the girls I like Pia and Thia (sounds like they should be twins!) but not as much as I like the guys. Scotty is from Garner which is 15 minutes or so from me. He's good but I don't think he's very versatile, and I'm not a country music fan, so I'm not voting for him. All these people around me are voting for him just because he's from here. I really wish AI was more about talent than popularity.

Lol, my family started watching Idol again this year because of Lauren,

she's good. I really want to hear them both on the radio. Lol. And Scotty's voice is great.

I don't mind Randy, though. I like the Aerosmith guy a lot, he's funny.

James, Jacob, Casey/ Pia, Thia, Naima all are truly talented and should have future carreers in music---Scotty at what does is great. He needs to prove that he is not one dimensional. That's what James did last night. Right now James is getting my vote.

Love, Love, Love Adam Lambert. Yep, he can scream right up there with Steven Tyler, but he can really slow it down and sing soft and beautiful. Talented, talented young man. I think he is just awesome - an he sure is nice to look at too

I love, love, love Adam Lambert's voice too! That's probably why I like James so much, he sounds a lot like Adam to me. Paul reminds me (voice wise) of Rod Stewart, only softer, so I say he is Rod-lite.

Okay, so Ashton's gone. Nothing against her, but here's what I don't get:

When announced that she was in the bottom three Ryan asked her what she feels she did wrong, and she said "Bad song choice. I should have picked a more upbeat song that people know..." (or something close to that effect)

Then it's announced that she's the bottom person, and she has ONE chance to "sing for her life", where the judges might use their one save. And what does she sing? The SAME song she just admitted was a mistake to sing!! What the heck was she thinking!?!?!

I didnt think i was gonna like it, so i recorded 5 episodes before i ever watched it! lol ~ but after watching, its real good this yr. I personally miss Simon, but Steven, Jennifer, & Randy are real good & they picked good talented people..
