What the bloody heck happened last night. I sat there in complete disbelief. What a stinking crock.

I think it will be better for him - he needs a band - he could not do that if he won Idol. I think his career will take off once he is out of his AI contracts.

Yeah, I was really bummed to see James leave and Scotty stay. You country fans are just to on the ball! I was SOOO looking forward to getting rid of that smart-#$* smirk. We DVR the show just so we can fast forward through Scotty performances.

Thank you for filling me in, I appreciate it. I did check youtube and was able to find a partial clip as they announced that Scotty would be the last one in, and so James was out. I thought his reaction was just fine, naturally he was crushed, but I thought he was pretty classy about it actually. Such a deserving guy, I hope bigger and better things come his way.

I've pretty much lost my enthusiasm at this point; he had been my favorite from the very beginning. I'll still watch the remaining shows, but I won't be voting.

I HATE TO SAY IT< BUT I TOLD YOU SO........

.........don't get me wrong James is a great singer, but his screaming was getting old very fast! I hope though that a record lable will pick him up and that he'll make an album cause I think he's got tons of fans! But like I said, I'm glad he's gone

I'm in the Haley fan club too, not really, but I like her voice a lot. I thot Lauren would go so when they made her safe I figured Haley was out so I was glad it was James instead of Haley but I really wish it had been Lauren. I think they're all great singers who will have some kind of career in music. Lauren just doesn't have the range although in her range she can really emote. I'll miss James.

Sorry to disagree, but that is not always the case. Look at Carrie Underwood. JMHO

Add me in as another James fan. I thought he was amazing. His range was incredible and I was really figuring HE was the next Idol winner. Hailey has an interesting voice, but she growls too much to the point that it sometimes sounds like screaming to me. However, with THAT said, they're all talented and will have futures in music.

I have lost interest at this point, but my still watch. I won't vote atthis point though.

As soon as James gets his first CD out, I'll be the first in line for it.

I really wish that AI would make people sign up or something for voting. And then only allow 3-5 votes per computer or something. I don't know if that would really help keep it real or not, but I learned that with the online voting there was no limit.
