James slaughtered "Don't Stop Believen" by Journey. If your a Journey fan you know what I mean. Some songs you can't go changing like that.

I do like James though. My favorite is Haley by a long shot.

No wonder the # of votes was so high this year... it's out of control and needs to be revamped somehow.

I am totally disgusted with the American people who ! voted off James!!!! The final should have consisted of James and Scotty! The girls have commonplace, if beautiful, voices but Scotty and James are unique and ultra talented.

Actually, Haley is the only one with a very unique voice and style. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single other singer that sounds like her, past or present. (And I listen to a LOT of music. It's my job!) I'm thrilled to see that enough people are recognizing that now to have kept her in the top three. She deserves it.

I personally think he sounded really good when he kept the song true to Journey's style but when he started messing with it and changing it I did not like it.

It could be too he just did not have enough popularity votes.

I did not vote.....we don't usually cause it is recorded and we are usually to late to vote by the time we watch it. That is why I never post here cause it would ruin it for me. I happen to be caught up.

I don't think there's any way that him singing one song not great would get him voted off, especially as consistent as he's been. I think it's more likely he was simply outvoted by fans of the others.

Ok, y'all you know I live about 15 minutes from where Scotty lives and he is at a local park that is near his house right now. Of course WRAL is all over this like white on rice so I have this live concert on. They just surprised Scotty while he was singing his favorite song and y'all should have seen his reaction, it was so FUNNY! I won't tell y'all who they surprised him with but if you want to know, click the highlighted word. They did a couple of songs together and they were good. It'll be funny to see the clips on AI since I can see the AI cameras up on the stage, etc. from our news cameras coverage. They better hurry up and finish, there are bad thunderstorms popping up all over the place!
