American serama thread!

I have a cute small smooth white hen to go with Santa Claus, and I was going to put Noelle with one of my best colored cockerels. But the white hen isn't laying right now, so Santa is still single, and I think I may have gotten Noelles first egg today, so I need to separate her, and see if she is actually the one that laid the egg. If so, then get her a boyfriend!

I think I have enough pullets, its just that my whole flock is young, and most are not laying. Its hard not to pull my two pullets that are laying off their current breeding project, just to get some frizzles going, but I need to sit tight and be patient. Pullets are not commodities... and I'm sure they don't like being swapped around all the time.

Artsy---GO FOR IT! Boaz is the next Mr. Universe as far as I am concerned! He's the MAN!

Can't remember who was lamenting about the mess BYC is now....[takes WAAY too long now for me to go back and forth on the pages] so I will just say, YES I agree 1000%. It is not spontanious and fun like it used to be..there I said it! :D
Too hard to use the smilies, can't find thread easily anymore, so I just don't bother.

Someone also talked about the Serama '"wars" going on..[again too much trouble to go back]
Heck, its so confusing right now I just give up. :/

will play with it and see what i can do

what i do with the new set up is just go to my subscriptions- the easiest way to keep track.... sigh.... too much clutter, but its better than no byc.....

I notice on my front page, if I scroll down to where it says "recent activity" all the thread that I've posted in are there, with a red flag and a number telling you if there are new posts. Click on the link, and it takes you to the newest post, and you can read from there.

Other than really missing a lot of folks that aren't posting anymore, I don't have too many complaints about the new platform. I think if you do the paid membership, some of the ads and stuff go away.

I haven't been in this thread since the big conversion.

Here are a few of our babies, growing up now...

I wish this one was more colorful. I love the patterns on the feathers.

And here are some of our big guys and gals...
