American serama thread!

Not great pics as being this small it was really hard to get on camera,but the thick fuzz goes all the way down the leg to the tip of the outer toe. Heather, you need to come over with your awesome camera!

No, they are 3 gens of Booted that I have had. The original stock were eggs from Serama Land. Here are pics of the parents.

The cock that i posted earlier is my last Booted. I've decided to cut down on the birds ad will probably be selling him soon. I have found that the Booted get better featherig with each generation.

Snowflake turned 5 months old yesterday.

She was the smallest of this generation and also the best example of the Ball type.
These round birds seem to grow larger than their playmates who possess a more typical body type. Lil Blue had 3 babies hatch around the same time as Snowflake and Snowflake has caught up with and surpassed the weight of Sweetness.

She weighed in at 8.9 ounces.




I'm kinda glad she's not a Micro anymore. How long are Micros supposed to live anyway?
Maybe now she'll give me some eggs when she becomes a year old, like Lil Blue did?
