American serama thread!

Thank you rach. Yeah I was thinking I would have to just forget about color for a while until I get type under control. You'd think I know what table top judging is but I don't. What is it?

Has she shown him what a lady expects from her man by putting the smack-down on him???? lol She has pretty markings, and I doubt he cares what breed she is...
update on ruth, i have been putting neosporin on her eye, and seems to be helping, she is preening and opening the eye more.

found a girl just right for boaz, not a serama but an old english game hen (I think) anyway- this is ginger and she seems to be able to tone him down some...

since you asked, personally i would not use him as my foundation breeder. if you can, buy eggs from reputable breeder hatch and save the best, rehome the rest (rehome to someone who will not breed but likes small chickens)
i qualify my buyers - if they are breeding, they will get optimal breeding birds at optimal prices - if they want small chickens i give them my culls - if they are breeders trying to buy breeding birds at pet quality prices i dont sell them anything at all....
if they are breeders on another island and are trying to achieve quality i may even give those pairs away too

sorry still cant load picts

i do like the color of delia, even though she is not posing she looks to be the right 'type' she may give you some nice babies

Here is my chocolate pullet, taken this weekend. She was hatched in January. She was trying to pose but kept squatting. She's recently learned to squat, lol. Shouldn't be long before she's laying
